Calcium vs Coral Calcium
What is Calcium?
- A natural occurring mineral found in the body that makes up
your bones and teeth and keeps them strong.
- 99% of the calcium in the body is stored in the bones and teeth.
- 1% is in the blood and soft tissues
- Without the 1% in the body, your muscles would not contract
properly, your blood would not clot and your nerves would not
carry messages.
- The human body is made up of 78% water by weight, and that
water is hydrogen and oxygen gases. When nitrogen gas and carbon
in the form of carbon dioxide and methane gases are added, the
total gas in the body by weight becomes over 95%. Almost half
of the remaining 5% that makes up the human body and controls
all biological functions is the mineral calcium.
Calcium Facts
- There is more calcium in the body than any other mineral. Twenty
percent of an adults bone calcium is reabsorbed and replaced every
year.
- The RDA (recommended daily allowance) for calcium is 1000 mg
per day for adults and children over four years of age.
- Most people are calcium deficient in their diets.
- A calcium supplement like "coral calcium" can significantly
increase the required level of calcium in the body.

Functions of Calcium

- Muscle contraction and relaxation
- Release of neurotransmitters in the brain and aids the nervous
system
- Blood clotting and blood pressure regulation

What I Need to Know?
To keep your body running smoothly you need Calcium.
It is an essential nutrient your body needs everyday.
Your bones are your bodies structural support as well as a calcium
bank. If there is not enough calcium in your diet then a withdrawal
of calcium is made from the bones. Most of us do not receive the
daily requirement of calcium through our diet and have poor nutrition
or consume counterproductive substances, such as carbonated soft
drinks (high in phosphorus) which depress solubility of calcium.
As a result, an acidic cellular pH results and the body becomes
a bed for disease and pathogens.
Calcium is important to keep the body in balance and coral calcium
is the best as it is a natural mineral supplement and is so easily
absorbed!
